About Bob's Building Supplies, Inc.

BOB'S BUILDING SUPPLIES, INC. was started in 1982 by Robert Houle. His son Steve joined in 1984, and together they earned a reputation for quality products and solid service.

So what kind of services do they offer? “We do anything we can to make sure our customers are successful. For example, we go to the job site and do measurements – we check out the foundation size before ordering materials. We walk through the project and verify door sizes and swings before ordering interior doors. We try to get our sales people out to the job sites so then can see first hand the project instead of just looking at the blueprint. We will run out small deliveries to keep crews going if needed. Up to ten percent of our business is remodeling, so we do multiple deliveries to those jobs. Basically we stay in close contact and ask ‘what do you need today?’

Bob’s Building Center is as focused on its community as it is on its customers. “We’re involved with the ballfields, the dirt track; local snowmobile clubs and we sponsor a lot of local baseball. We’re also involved with the local builder’s association. I’m sure that’s pretty common. This area has been very good to us, we try to give back whenever we can.”
